The city lies at the mouth of the beautiful Hudson River and is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world. New York is famous as a major international center for finance, trade, fashion, culture, food, media, art and culture. It is particularly famous as the home to the Statue of Liberty, one of the symbols of the American way of life and for its picturesque skyline which is dominated by the world famous Empire State Building.

New York is a city that is always high on energy and offers the visitors with endless possibilities. It is famous for the great diversity, endless dining opportunities, cultural extravaganzas, unparalleled shopping and beautiful sights. The city always ends up surprising its first time visitor, but it has a unique way of making you open up to its sights and delights.

Travelers visiting the city for the first time always get stuck to popular tourist landmarks like the Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Rockefeller Center and the Met. However, those who have visited the city before can experience the true New York by exploring its unique neighborhoods, hole-in-the-wall bars, local stores and amazing cafes. In fact, non-touristy New York is known to offer a much better experience to travelers, but only after they explore touristy New York.

A trip to New York is also known to offer travelers with a treasure trove of culture. As one of the most dynamic and multi-cultural cities of America, New York is home to all sorts of historical and cultural attractions – beautiful museums, Broadway shows, cuisines from all over the world, ethnic neighborhoods and more. The city has so much to see and do that it even becomes difficult for the 8 million denizens who live here to get bored.

Over the years, New York has evolved itself and transformed into one of the best cosmopolitan cities in the world as well. From lower crime rates and miles of bicycle lanes to tourist friendly infrastructure and a fast paced lifestyle, New York personifies what it is to truly lead a big city life.

While in New York, don’t skip out on the lady clad in copper greens. She is a sight for sore eyes and is a symbol of everything that the city of triumph stands for. She tells you to shed your apprehensions, explore and experiment and allow the city to unfold its mysteries to you.

Remember, New York seems to be quite simple and straightforward, but it is anything but complex. Its experiences twist and turn like those old world cobblestone streets and it seems as if the city has its own standards for time. Time passes faster in New York than any other place in the world and change is always there to see. Irrespective of how many times you visit the city, you are bound to find an array of new and exciting things to see and do.

The OROGOLD Madison Avenue Store
Named after the fourth President of the United States, James Madison, this renowned avenue has long been associated with the American advertising industry. Playing off its early history with large advertising firms, the avenue has served as the backdrop for the popular television series, Mad Men, which centers around the business of a fictional advertising agency set in 1960s America. In recent times, though, Madison Avenue has moved away from its advertising roots and is now recognized as one of New York’s top shopping destinations.

Nestled within the vicinity of the famous Central Park, Madison Avenue is a shopping haven for both New Yorkers and tourists alike. Running from Madison Square Park all the way to Harlem River Drive, this long stretch of one-way avenue also passes through the established neighborhood of the Upper East Side and runs parallel to the designer brand-laden Fifth Avenue.

Madison Avenue itself is flanked by rows of shops and office buildings on both of its sides. Strolling along Madison Avenue, you will be spoilt for choice in terms of clothing stores, boutiques, hair salons, bookstores, and cafes – the perfect street for anyone in need of retail therapy!

The OROGOLD East Hampton Store
East Hampton, a small town located in Suffolk County, is the easternmost town in the state of New York within Long Island. A little over 2-hours’ drive from Manhattan, East Hampton has a population of at least 22,000 residents and is home to eight state parks, most of which are located along the peninsula’s edge close to the waters. Historically, East Hampton was the first English settlement in the state of New York during the 17th century when an English settler and soldier, Lion Gardiner, bought a piece of land in the town. That piece of land is now known as Gardiners Island.

Today, East Hampton is a popular destination for travelers all year round. For those looking for a summer getaway, the town boasts of some of the most pristine beaches in the world and offers many beautiful seaside villages. During the fall and winter months, the town has a quaint old-world charm with its New England-type villages and farmlands. East Hampton also has several main commercial areas and Newtown Lane is one of them. It is home to a number of world famous brands, unique fashion labels and designer boutiques. With its rich heritage and lovely beaches, East Hampton is a place that has something for everyone!

The OROGOLD Bleecker St Store

Running from the Bowery to the edge of the Meatpacking District, Bleecker Street has evolved so much in recent years. Some of the most iconic stores in Manhattan can now be found here, from Burberry to MAC to Lulu Guinness, and, of course, OROGOLD. Shopaholics will love the tantalizing mix of big brands and independent labels, offering up a completely different vibe than that of New York’s more famous shopping streets.

As you head south on Bleecker Street, you will start to encounter pockets of the area’s bohemian past. From quaint cafes and gourmet food shops, along with historic pizzerias, to record stores and live music spots, this is a street that has heavily contributed to the culture of New York.

Once the sun goes down, Bleecker Street takes on an even livelier energy. Some of the city’s most legendary nightlife spots call this street home, with many of them having been around since the early 1900’s. Whether you are looking for luxury shopping and action-packed nightlife, or historic architecture and traditional eateries, Bleecker Street really does have it all.
