With an ever-evolving lineup of events, shows and concerts, Vegas is one of the prime destinations in the world when it comes to entertainment. For those heading over to Sin City in April, here are some of the highlights to look forward to, both on the stage as well as in the ring.
Amir Khan vs Manny Pacquiao Super Fight
Former sparring partners Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan have had quite the history, and will be making headlines together once again on the 23rd of April, the date that both of them have chosen for their next super fight. While the exact venue is still to be announced, the chances that it will be held in Vegas are high. This is definitely a match that boxing fans will not want to miss, as Pacquiao, the only eight-weight world champion, will be doing his very best to defend his welterweight crown from the World Boxing Organization.
Britney Spears: Piece of Me
Hosted by Planet Hollywood at their Axis Theater, the Britney Spears: Piece of Me concert is a must-see for any Britney fans. This concert will be unlike any of her others, as the 4500 seat showroom has been remodelled especially for the Queen of Pop, complete with a catwalk-style stage that enables Britney and her dancers to be closer than ever to their audience. The songs performed will be Britney’s most popular hits, as well as a few tracks from her latest album, all of which will be accompanied by show-stopping choreography and electrifying, stunt-like moves.

Elton John Million Dollar Piano
Fans of Elton John will love any of his concerts, but the Elton John Million Dollar Piano show, held at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, promises to be quite different from the rest. This new show features the valuable Blossom, a piano that took four years to build, and which features 68 LED screens that display images related to each track to the crowd. This new element to the performance really complements each song, but while the piano may be a new and exciting feature, Elton John’s renowned showmanship will still always be what steals the show.
Ricky Martin Las Vegas
Global superstar Ricky Martin will be bringing his fiery moves to Vegas this April, performing at the Park Theater at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino. Martin has long since been credited with bringing Latin pop to the mainstream American music scene, paving the way for the many Latin stars that came after him. Not only is Martin a much-loved Grammy Award winner, but he is also known for having one of the highest selling singles of all time, “Livin’ La Vida Loca”, making this concert one that you will not want to miss.
Vegas is wonderfully diverse, meaning that there is no doubt that you will be able to find a concert or event that appeals to you. Whether you are seeking world-class boxing or renowned pop music, April is set to be a great time to visit Sin City.
