Rides
There is a fantastic variety of rides available at Ferrari World, from heart-thumping rollercoasters to gentle, child-friendly rides. Of course, one of the most famous rides at Ferrari World is the Formula Rossa, which is the fastest rollercoaster in the world. Taking you to a speed of 240 km/h in under five seconds, with heights of up to 52 metres, this ride gives you the opportunity to travel even faster than an Formula One car can. Flying Aces is another record-breaking rollercoaster, this one boasting the highest rollercoaster loop in the world, enabling you to fly through the air at 120 km/h, with incredible 51 degree inclines. For those who are seeking out gentler rides, there are plenty to choose from, such as the Tyre Twist, which was inspired by the traditional teacup ride, Speed of Magic, which makes use of simulator technology, and the Scuderia Challenge, although this is a timed attraction so you would need to sign up in advance.

Experiences
In order for visitors to really immerse themselves in the Ferrari brand, there are many Ferrari experiences to be had at the amusement park. For children, the Junior GT is a must, as this first involves an educational film, followed by a lesson from a trained expert, before they are able to get behind the wheel of a child-sized 430 GT Spider. For adults who were hoping for the opportunity to drive a full-sized Ferrari, this is possible too, with the Ferrari California. After receiving a lesson on how to drive the car from one of the brand’s trained pilots, you will then be able to take a ride around the island, with space in the back for up to two passengers, so that your friends and family can join in on the fun too.

Shows
In addition to the rides and experiences, there are a few shows that are worth checking out at Ferrari World. Viva Ferrari is perfect for the whole family, with 3D animations, optical illusions and performance arts, while Fast Lane is an interactive game show where you could even win a few prizes. The Red Show is one of the more extravagant shows that you will find here, and not only features theatrical dancing and acrobatics, but also BMX biking and mega wheels. For some comedy, make sure to catch the Tyre Change Show, which features two hysterical Italian mechanics who clown around while attempting to change the tyre of an F1 car, before giving the audience the chance to try it for themselves.

Ferrari World is absolutely packed with fun-filled attractions, and these are suitable even for those who are not diehard Ferrari fans. From the adrenaline-fuelling rides to the one-of-a-kind experiences, Ferrari World guarantees to be a unforgettable day out for the entire family.

For those visiting Sin City in May, here are some of the top shows that you can look forward to.

The Phantom of the Opera
The Phantom of the Opera is a classic show, and, as part of their new North American tour, will be heading to The Smith Center in Vegas this May and June. The entire production promises to be bigger and more extravagant than ever, with incredible new set designs and costumes by a Tony Award-winning costume designer. Everything from the staging to the choreography has been redone, so even if you have seen this show before, this version is bound to still impress.

An American in Paris
An American in Paris is a new hit musical from the Broadway Las Vegas series, with its story focussed on an American soldier, a mysterious French girl, and the beautiful city of Paris. With both characters seeking out a fresh start in the aftermath of the war, this is a story that guarantees to tug on the heartstrings. This production has won four Tony awards to date, which is more than any other musical did in the 2014-2015 season.

50 Shades! The Parody
The controversial novel 50 Shades of Grey had readers from all over the world hooked, and this x-rated story is now being shown on stage in Vegas, at Bally’s Hotel and Casino. A musical parody of the novel, 50 Shades! The Parody promises to have you roaring with laughter as you follow the three main characters in the plot, with an unforgettable performance that combines dance, comedy and music.

Menopause The Musical
Menopause The Musical first debuted in 2001 in Orlando, and, since then, has been performed in over 40 cities around the world. The musical features quite a unique storyline, with four women who meet at a lingerie sale, and while they may have extremely diverse backgrounds, from a housewife to an ambitious career woman, they all have a shared experience in the fact that they are all currently experiencing menopause. While this may seem like quite a “chick flick”, the songs from the 60s, 70s, and 80s that are featured in this musical give it a much wider appeal.

Peter Pan
For those seeking a musical in May that is perfect for the entire family, then Peter Pan is the one to see. Presented by the NBT at the Smith Center, this show will take you on a magical adventure into Neverland, and will feature all of your favorite Peter Pan characters. From the Lost Boys to Captain Hook to Tinkerbell, this show is a great way to watch this classic story really come alive.

While New York may be the ultimate place to catch a Broadway musical, Vegas definitely comes a close second. Whether you are seeking a controversial, adult-themed show, or one that will appeal to the whole family, there is more than enough to choose from this May in Vegas.
